Henkel 51817 LOCTITE® 518™ Red Gasket Eliminator Flange Sealant - 6 mL (.20 oz) Tube

Henkel 51817 (also known as Loctite 518) gasket eliminator flange sealant forms a solvent -resistant, flexible seal that won't tear or decay. It provides a seal that holds to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and fills gaps to .050 inches. This premium sealant can be used effectively on flexible metal assemblies such as aluminum surfaces. It also provides for easy parts disassembly and cleaning. Old material can be easily removed with a putty knife.

Loctite 518 sealant, available in a 6-milliliter tube, can be used to seal close fitting joints that are between rigid metal faces and flanges. After flange assembly, it immediately provides resistance to low pressures. Henkel 51817 sealant is non-corrosive and frequently used on rigid flanged connections as a form-in-place gasket, such as on gearbox and engine casings. Use this for emergency repair projects or when a standard gasket or O-ring is not available.
