ROYCO 1MS Anti-Seize Thread Compound from SkyGeek is designed assist in the installation of screws, bolts and other fasteners by providing a thin layer of lubrication that helps the screw or bolt glide into place. The anti-seize thread compound is a blend of lubrication-grade micro-fine powdered molybdenum disulfide and technical-grade petrolatum. It’s easy to apply and offers the lubrication needed to ensure that screws, bolts and other fasteners don't seize when inserted into a solid surface or are heated during installation or removal. It conforms to Mil-M-7866 and VV-P-236 standards for performance you can rely on. The thread compound is non-abrasive, highly shear stable, and has a relatively low volatility compared to competitor compounds.

ROYCO 1MS Thread Compound from SkyGeek is electrically conductive, so caution should be exercised when using it in or near electrical equipment. The compound is not intended for use as a sealant and it should not be used in oxygen systems. It can be used on spark plugs, threaded fasteners and other engine components that operate below 800°F. APPLICATIONS

ROYCO 1MS is particularly suitable for use on aircraft engine spark plugs and threaded fasteners and fittings at temperatures below 800°F. At higher temperatures, compound conforming to Mil-T-5544 (ROYCO 44) should be used in lieu of ROYCO 1MS. Since this material is an electrical conductor, it is especially suited for anti-seize applications where the thread compound will not impede the flow of an electrical current.
