Armite Anti-Seize Thread Compound from SkyGeek is an essential part of any maintenance technician’s arsenal. The SAE-AMS-2518 formula can be used on your aircraft’s engine spark plugs and threaded fasteners and fittings, but it is not limited to just those applications. The unique compound may be used safely in contact with austenitic corrosion-resistant steels, titanium, nickel, and cobalt alloys, and similar corrosion-resistant metals and alloys. Please note that this formula contains graphite which may promote corrosion of aluminum, magnesium, ferrous, zinc, and cadmium alloys or plated coatings and should not be used with such metals.
Use Anti-Seize Thread Compound wherever you need a tight connection that can still be removed for maintenance purposes. The compound is traditionally used on consumable components or on parts that are often removed and tightened during normal use. A little bit goes a long way and the one-pound can will last for a while. The Anti-Seize Thread Compound can be applied directly to the threaded portion of the component using a brush. Excess portions can be wiped away before or after installation. Order your Armite Anti-Seize Thread Compound today and enjoy competitive pricing from SkyGeek.
