Product Attributes
Your aircraft deserves the best protection that money can buy, which is why SkyGeek offers PPG Aerospace® PR-1436-G Corrosion Inhibitive sealant. The sealant is designed to stop leaks and air loss while simultaneously protecting against corrosion by acting as a physical barrier against moisture and corrosion-causing chemicals. The sealant is sold in a 2.5-ounce 655-SemKit and has a smooth gray finish. The service temperature range is -65°F (-54°C) to 225°F (107°C), with the ability to withstand intermittent excursions up to 250°F (121°C). Use PPG Aerospace® PR-1436-G Corrosion Inhibitive sealant on aluminum alloys or between dissimilar metals with impressive results.
PPG Aerospace® PR-1436-G Corrosion Inhibitive sealant is a two-part formula that is sold in a 2.5-ounce SemKit where each component is kept separate until just before use. The uncured material may be applied by spray, but because it is sold in a SemKit, it can also be extruded with great luck. Once cured, PPG Aerospace® PR-1436-G Corrosion Inhibitive sealant forms a resilient seal, with excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
