J-B Weld™ 8276 KwikWeld™ from SkyGeek is the perfect partner for the J-B Weld you probably already have in your toolbox. J-B Weld J-B Kwik is designed for times when you need to fix something fast and don't have the time or patience to hold it for half an hour while the hardener sets up. J-B Kwik Cold Weld Epoxy eliminates the need for overnight curing and provides the strength you need in less time than other epoxies.

How does it work?

J-B Kwik is packaged in two separate tubes. One tube contains a liquid steel/epoxy resin, and the other tube contains a hardener. When mixed together in equal portions, a chemical reaction occurs that turns the mixture into a compound as hard and tough as steel -- and with similar properties. Once mixed, users will have a brief working period before the mixture begins to cure.

Because J-B Kwik is designed to cure so fast, it's not as strong of a bonding agent as the original J-B Weld. It's also not as heat-resistant as standard formulas. However, for typical household maintenance and repairs, it's just about perfect. Many happy customers have told us they were finally able to repair annoying things around their homes using J-B Weld's J-B Kwik when nothing else would work. We think you'll love J-B Kwik as well, especially the first time you need to make a quick repair and can't wait all day for the glue to dry.

How to use it:

Use J-B Kwik as an adhesive, a laminate, a plug, a filler, a sealant or an electrical insulator. Just squeeze out equal portions of product from the black and orange tubes, then mix thoroughly with a disposable mixing tool like a stick to activate the adhesive. Apply it to a pre-cleaned surface and press tight for several seconds to allow the bond to form. J-B Weld sets up quickly and cures readily for a strong, reliable hold in minutes.

Like standard metal, J-B Kwik can be formed, drilled, ground, tapped, machined, filled, sanded and painted. It stays pliable for about two minutes after mixing and sets in just four minutes without the need for extra heat or special conditions. It is fully cured in just four hours. Once cured, the epoxy is water-proof, petroleum-, chemical-, and acid-resistant. It also resists shock, vibration, and extreme temperature fluctuations, so it’s perfect for automotive or aeronautical use. It can even withstand temperatures up to 300°F. J-B Kwik from SkyGeek is super strong, non-toxic and safe to use all around your home or shop. Before it sets, you can clean up excess product with soap and water.

What does it bond to?

J-B Kwik can bond to virtually any combination of iron, steel, copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, pewter, porcelain, ceramic, marble, glass, PVC & ABS, concrete, fiberglass, wood, fabric or paper. It can be safely used on just about any porous and non-porous material, making it a great choice for all of your repair and bonding needs.
