Henkel LOCTITE® 515™ Purple Flange Sealant from SkyGeek is an anaerobic-curing sealant that’s designed to be used with rigid, machined metal gaskets. The purple sealant can fill large cracks and gaps up to 0.25mm in width with a super-fast 30-minute fixture time. LOCTITE® 515™ Sealant cures in confined spaces in the absence of air, like between close-fitting metal surfaces. Use the anaerobic sealant to fill the gap between rigid metal faces and flanges and enjoy a continuous seal thanks to the sealants’ ability to flex with minor flange movements. Henkel 515™ LOCTITE® 51531 Purple Flange Sealant provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly of flanges and can be used as a form-in-place gasket for pumps, thermostats, compressors and more. The sealant is sold in a 50 mL tube with a precision tip for easier, more accurate application. The purple liquid sealant is fluorescent under UV light, so it’s easy to inspect the bead during installation and after the seal is complete.
