Product Attributes
Some of the instruments on your aircraft require lubrication to work how they're supposed to. For those instruments, SkyGeek carries Castrol® Brayco™ 885 Instrument Lubricating Oil in a convenient quart-size can. Castrol® Brayco™ 885 Instrument Lubricating Oil is a synthetic oil that's packed full of specialized additives that help guard against corrosion, inhibit oxidation and reduce foaming. The low-volatility formula has good viscosity and works in a wide range of temperatures. The service temperature range for Castrol® Brayco™ 885 Instrument Lubricating Oil is -65ºF to 250ºF (-54ºC to 121ºC).
Castrol® Brayco™ 885 Instrument Lubricating Oil is designed for use in a wide variety of aircraft instruments including electronics equipment and applications where a low evaporation rate is desired. Because it can adversely affect certain paints and elastomers, Castrol® Brayco™ 885 Instrument Lubricating Oil should not be used on exterior surfaces and should always be tested for compatibility before use.
