Zip-Chem® 009448 Calla® 855 Alkaline Water-Based Exterior Aircraft Cleaner - Gallon Jug

Messes consist of many types of substances and are made on all types of surfaces. When cleaning up messes, cleaners should be versatile. Zip Chem's Calla 855 is a concentrated, alkaline, water-based cleaner that offers such versatility. It is designed primarily for safe, efficient and economical removal of carbon and exhaust deposits from aircraft surfaces. Although designated as an exterior cleaner, Calla 855 is also suitable for general interior aircraft cleaning as well as ground equipment.

Calla 855's versatility translates to other benefits. It will not pit, stain or attack metals including aluminum alloys, magnesium, copper, or steel. In addition, when used properly, Calla 855 will not harm paints or plastics used on equipment or machines, e.g. wiring on motors or acrylic base plastics. If left to dry completely, it will not leave any residual stain, but if there is any concern it can be rinsed quite easily. This cleaner's assured quality stems from its conformity to MIL-C-85570, Type II.

Application

Calla 855 requires no special mixing equipment. It mixes easily with water. A minimum amount of stirring is required; it will not separate. Follow these directions:

Mix one part Calla 855 with four parts water and apply by spray, mop or foam generator. Next, allow a few minutes for penetration. Finally, rub the cleaner into the affected area with a soft brush or mop and rinse with water.
