PPG Aerospace® P/S 870 B-1/2 Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant from SkyGeek seals and protects in one easy step. The aircraft sealant has a service temperature range from -65ºF (-54ºC) to 250ºF (121ºC) and can even handle intermittent excursions up to 275ºF (135ºC). Designed to act as a physical barrier against corrosion-causing moisture and other hazards, the sealant works on a variety of materials including aluminum alloys. Once cured, the sealant maintains its elastomeric properties, for a strong, long-lasting seal.PPG Aerospace® P/S 870 B-1/2 Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant is designed to deliver superior performance and can withstand limited exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline. The two-part formula must be mixed to activate, but in the uncured state it presents as a low sag thixotropic paste that can be applied by extrusion gun or spatula. The sealant is designed to cure at room temperature and exhibits excellent adhesion and superior resilience. Each component in the two-part kit is carefully measured before shipping, so all you have to do is mix the two parts together and apply.
