PPG Aerospace® PR-1428 B-2 Access Door Sealant from SkyGeek is a low-adhesive sealant that's designed for temporary holds. Use the sealant on your aircraft's access doors to keep them in place during flight, but to allow for easy removal when access is needed. The class B-2 sealant has a service temperature range -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C) and can withstand intermittent exposure to temperatures up to 250°F (135°C) for superior flexibility. In addition to sealing access doors, the sealant can also be used to make form-in-place gaskets, or to protect electrical wires, terminals and equipment from fuel, moisture, dirt and short circuits.

PPG Aerospace® Dark PR-1428 B-2 Access Door Sealant is a two-part formula and is sold in a 6-ounce SemKit for easy dispensing. The sealant requires mixing before use and has a low sag to make it easy to apply to vertical or horizontal surfaces. The paste-like adhesive is suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula and cures at room temperature once applied. PPG Aerospace® PR-1428 B-2 Access Door Sealant will adhere to the most common aircraft substrates.
