HUNTSMAN® EPOCAST® 1636-A/B Gray BMS 5-28 Type 6 Rev. AN Spec High-Temperature Potting Compound - Quart Kit

Huntsman® Epocast® 1636-A/B Potting Compound from SkyGeek is a high-density, self-extinguishing, high-temperature potting compound that is sold as a two-part kit. The synthetic potting compound delivers superior performance when reinforcing honeycomb structures and is qualified for BMS 5-28, Type 6. The potting compound has a medium viscosity and is aluminum-filled for easy handling and machining in the cured state. The compound has a neutral gray color when cured. Potting compounds are used in electronics installations. Potting compounds are used during potting, which is the process of filling a completed electronic assembly with a solid compound to deliver shock and vibration resistance along with protection against water, moisture and other contaminants. Huntsman® Epocast® 1636-A/B Potting Compound is sold as a two-part kit and contains pre-measured portions for easy mixing. Simply mix the smaller container into the larger container and apply as desired. The containers have reusable lids for storing unused portions. Kits are sold individually, but quantity pricing may be available on qualifying bulk orders.
