PPG Aerospace® PR-1828 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant is a rapid cure fuel tank sealant with a service temperature range of -80°F (-62°C) to 320°F (160°C), making it the ideal choice for virtually any application. The sealant can withstand the most challenging conditions of flight without failure, including vibrational forces and intermittent exposure to temperatures up to 420ºF (216ºC). Use PPG Aerospace® PR-1828 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant for fillet sealing and other fuel system-related sealing applications. Once cured, the sealant maintains its excellent elastomeric properties, even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.

PPG Aerospace® PR-1828 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant from SkyGeek is a low sag, thixotropic paste. The two-part epoxy-cured Permapol® P-3 polythioether compound is designed to go on smoothly and the thixotropic paste is suitable for application via extrusion gun or spatula. Unlike a standard fuel tank sealant, PPG Aerospace® PR-1828 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant can cure at low temperatures and is resistant to changes in relative humidity.
