PPG Aerospace® PR-1460 Q Potting Compound from SkyGeek delivers a strong, reliable hold and impressive resiliency. The sealing and potting compound has a service temperature range of -57°C (-70°F) to 121°C (250°F) with intermittent excursions up to 135°C (275°F), making it ideal for use all over the aircraft. Use PPG Aerospace® PR-1460 Q Sealing and Potting Compound for insulating electrical connectors, wiring and other electronic apparatus in fuel-exposed applications. When cured, the sealant is resistant to both jet fuel and aviation gas, delivering unbeatable protection and worry-free results.

PPG Aerospace® PR-1460 Q Potting Compound is a two-part formula with a manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide base. Uncured, the sealant is designed to flow freely around wires and connections, filling in gaps and spaces to provide the highest level of protection and complete insulation. Once in place, PPG Aerospace® PR-1460 Q Sealing and Potting Compound cures at room temperature to form a solid elastomer that can withstand the vibrational forces of flight and exposure to most aviation chemicals.
