PPG Aerospace® PR-1782 Fuel Tank Sealant is easy to use and cures readily under ambient conditions. Once cured, the sealant maintains its elastomeric properties, even after prolonged exposure to aircraft fuels and aviation gas. The sealant resists limited exposure to diphosphate ester-based hydraulic fluids and offers excellent adhesion over an extended period. The Class B sealant is sold as a two-part kit that requires mixing prior to application. The sealant is a low sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by either extrusion gun or spatula for easy application.
