The high-solids formula is used to protect the exterior of the aircraft and can be applied over epoxy and Koroflex® urethane primers. The topcoat offers outstanding color retention and long-lasting beauty with a cool gray color that persists, flight after flight.

PPG Aerospace® Desothane™ FS#36293 Topcoat delivers protection and performance in one easy-to-clean formula. The topcoat boasts excellent adhesion and fluid resistance and is compatible with most primers. Roll, brush or spray on the topcoat for smooth, continuous color. When mixing, PPG Aerospace® Desothane™ FS#36293 Topcoat requires a three to one ratio, with three parts of the CA9311 base component and one part of the CA9300B activator. In the kit, components are pre-measured in the correct quantities to make one gallon when combined. PPG Aerospace® Desothane™ FS#36293 Topcoat can be applied in most conditions, with a service temperature range of -54ºC to 177ºC (-64ºF to -350ºF).
