Designed for use on the inside of the fuel tank, this sealant is resistant to aviation gasoline and jet fuel. The aerodynamic smoothing sealant boasts a wide service temperature range from -80°F (-62°C) to 320°F (160°C), with intermittent excursions up to 420°F (216°C), giving you the flexibility you need to get the job done. Use PPG Aerospace® PR-2001 B-1/2 Rapid Cure Fuel Tank Sealant for fillet sealing and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications. Once cured, the sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties for a long-lasting hold.
PPG Aerospace® PR-2001 B-1/2 Rapid Cure Fuel Tank Sealant from SkyGeek cures quicker than other fuel tank sealants, getting you off the ground and back up in the sky in less time. The sealant has a standard two-part formula and is an epoxy-cured Permapol® P-3.1 polythioether compound with low sag and plenty of strength. Even with fluctuations in the relative humidity, PPG Aerospace® PR-2001 B-1/2 Rapid Cure Fuel Tank Sealant will cure at room temperature.
