Product Attributes
Stop leaks before they start by ordering a 6-ounce SemKit of PPG Aerospace® PR-2001 B-2 Rapid Cure Fuel Tank Sealant from SkyGeek. The gray sealant is designed for use inside the fuel tank and is formulated for fillet sealing, but can also be used for other types of fuel tank sealing applications. The aerodynamic smoothing sealant works at temperatures ranging from -80°F (-62°C) to 320°F (160°C), and can easily withstand brief exposure to temperatures as high as 420°F (216°C). The fuel tank sealant is resistant to aviation gasoline and jet fuel, maintaining its elastomeric properties long after curing.
PPG Aerospace® PR-2001 B-2 Rapid Cure Fuel Tank Sealant is a Type 2, Grade 1 Spec fuel tank sealant and is sold in a 6-ounce 654-SemKit where the two components of the sealant can be kept separate until just before use. Once mixed, the sealant forms a gray compound that’s easy to apply. The low-sag formula works well on vertical or horizontal surfaces and can be applied by an extrusion gun or spatula.
