Designed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications, the integral fuel tank sealant boats an incredible service temperature range from 65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). The material begins to cure once mixed and when fully cured, it maintains its excellent elastomeric properties to provide a flexible and reliable seal flight after flight. PPG Aerospace® P/S 890 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant is resistant to jet fuel and aviation gas.
PPG Aerospace® P/S 890 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant from SkyGeek is a two-part manganese-dioxide-cured polysulfide compound with a neutral gray color. The blended sealant is a thixotropic paste with low sag, so it's perfect for vertical or horizontal surfaces. Apply the sealant by extrusion gun or spatula with outstanding results. The flexible fuel tank sealant cures at room temperature to form a resilient bond and adheres well to most common aircraft substrates.
