PERMATEX® 80036 34A Gray Valve Grinding Compound - 1.5 oz Tube

Permatex 80036 Valve Grinding Compound from SkyGeek is an abrasive paste that is designed to aid valve grinding operations in various types of engines. The compound is odorless and grey for discreet use. The formula contains select abrasive grits that are evenly dispersed in a water based, non-corrosive binder that also includes various gelling agents, lubricants, preservatives and ethylene glycol. The multi-purpose compound is specially designed for use in engines and can withstand a wide range of operating temperatures. It can be used for lapping and grinding chromium-cobalt, hard-faced seats and discs. It also removes burrs, surface defects, gums, carbon deposits and corrosion when used in special applications. The compound mixes readily with water to form an easy-to-use paste. As the compound is worked, the grits become finer, creating a smoother finish over time.
