MAGNAFLUX® 01-3267-40 ZYGLO® ZL-56 Level 4 Water Washable Fluorescent Penetrant - 5 Gallon Pail

ZL-56 is a Level 4 (Ultra-High Sensitivity) fluorescent water washable penetrant. It is typically used on smooth, non-porous, highly machines surfaces to find cracks, seams, and scratches on critical parts. When exposed to ultraviolet light, the penetrant fluoresces a bright greenish-yellow color, making for easy detection of a flaw. A black light source with a peak wavelength of 365 nanometers is recommended, such as the Magnaflux ZB-100F fan-cooled black light.

Water washable penetrants can be used in open dip tanks and meet OSHA requirements for Class III B liquids due to their high flash point.
