The JFM 9891007004 Model TCS-1 Battery Trickle Charger from SkyGeek is a low-current battery charger that can be used to trickle charge nickel-cadmium and lead-acid batteries, like the ones used on your aircraft. The primary use of the battery charger is to maintain a full charge in the battery while the unit is in storage. This helps compensate for battery self-discharge, keeping your batteries ready for flight and in good condition. The trickle charger has an adjustable float voltage and a maximum charging current for safety. It is usable on batteries up to 100 A-hr and can even be used as a full charger for batteries of up to 5.0A-hr.
