The rubberized primer goes on smoothly and is easy to spread, providing a reliable base for silicone adhesives to bond. Use Cytec DAPCO® 1-100 Adhesive Silicone Primer to improve the bond strength between most types of silicone RTVs and different substrates, including metals and plastics. Cytec DAPCO® 1-100 Adhesive Silicone Primer is easy to use, readily bonds to surfaces and is safe for use with clear silicone caulk, waterproof caulk, Gorilla silicone sealant and other clear caulk materials. No mixing is required before application, reducing application times and streamlining surface preparations. While Cytec DAPCO® 1-100 Adhesive Silicone Primer is compatible with a variety of sealants and caulks, it is recommended for use with DAPCO® 18-4F and DAPCO® 3300. The silicone adhesive primer is sold in a one-pint bottle and is green in color so it’s easy to see where it has been applied, ensuring complete coverage.
