PPG Aerospace® PR-1425CF B-2 Windshield and Canopy Sealant from SkyGeek is formulated to seal the edge around the windshield of the aircraft. The fast-curing, chrome-free formula has a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). The sealant is designed for use on transparent surfaces and will not cause crazing on properly prepared glass, polycarbonate and acrylic substances. The cured sealant is black and exhibits excellent resistance to UV and weather exposure.

PPG Aerospace® PR-1425CF B-2 Windshield and Canopy Sealant is a fast-curing, two-part formula with a manganese dioxide-cure polysulfide base. The low sag sealant is easy to apply and stays in place thanks to its thixotropic properties. The sealant offers excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates and should be applied after surfaces are treated with PPG Aerospace® PR-1861 adhesion promoter for the best results. PPG Aerospace® PR-1425CF B-2 Windshield and Canopy Sealant is sold in a 6-ounce 654-SemKit and is black before and after curing.
