The best way to install CHERRYMAX® rivets is with a CHERRYMAX® H701b-456 Straight Pulling Head from SkyGeek. The straight nosepiece is the preferred way to install CHERRYMAX® rivets if the right conditions are present. The straight pulling head works with CHERRYMAX® rivets ranging from 1/8" (-4) to 3/16" (-6) and is compatible with G746A, G747, G704B, and G800 riveters.Using the CHERRYMAX® H701b-456 Straight Pulling Head is easy. Simply attach the riveter to the air source, place the spring into the riveter piston, then carefully thread in and tighten the collet assembly onto the riveter piston. Thread the sleeve assembly and lock it in by tightening the jam nut. Jaws can be adjusted to hold onto the stem at all times or to release it after fastener installation. The H701b-456 Straight Pulling Head works with nominal and oversized CHERRYMAX® rivets. The single-piece unit comes pre-assembled and ready for use, allowing for faster rivet installation. Riveters and hardware are sold separately.
