Aerospace Sealants AS106 RTV Sealant is an FAA-approved replacement for Momentive RTV106 High Strength Fast Cure RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant. It has been tested and conforms to requirements of MIL-A-46106 Type I Group III material.
AS106 is a fast curing, high strength, acetoxy silicone RTV adhesive rubber developed for applications that require fast development of physical properties and excellent adhesion. It is one part high temperature silicone that allows handling of the bonded assembly within minutes when applied. It works well in manual and automatic dispensing equipment. Increased huminity can accelerate cure speed to very rapid cures exhibiting fast adhesion. Just dispense in open air and ambient humidity to result in a durable ahesive rubber.
