PPG Aerospace® P/S 890 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant from SkyGeek is designed for integral fuel tank sealing operations and is completely resistant to aviation gas and jet fuel. The sealant is designed to be used as a first line of defense against leaks, with a thixotropic paste-like consistency that goes on thick and stays in place. Use the sealant for fillet sealing for the best results and the longest hold. The sealant has a service temperature range of 65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C), so it's easy to apply in any environment.
PPG Aerospace® P/S 890 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant is a two-part formula with individual components that are designed to be mixed just before use. This keeps everything in its most active state until it is needed, preventing curing and ensuring a strong bond. The cured sealant is slightly flexible, maintaining its elastomeric properties to ensure a reliable seal flight after flight. Apply PPG Aerospace® P/S 890 B-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant using an extrusion gun or spatula for the best, mess-free results.
