Momentive RTV60 Silicone Rubber Compound from SkyGeek is used for a variety of applications that require high-heat resistance and flexibility. Use the formula for potting and encapsulating electric motors and transformers, for fabricating rubber parts, casting molds and more. The two-part silicone elastomer is sold in a convenient kit that keeps the components separated until just prior to use. When ready to apply, simply mix the parts together as indicated in the instructions and spread the mixture over the surface you are working on.
Momentive RTV60 Silicone Rubber Compound uses a base compound and DBT (dibutyl tin dilaurate) as the standard curing agent. DBT is suitable for most applications, however other catalysts are available to facilitate deep section cure, faster cure and automated mixing. Choose the catalyst that best works with your project to ensure quality results. Once applied, Momentive RTV60 forms a high-temp silicone rubber sheet that protects and encapsulates all at once. The formula is priced low and ships quickly from our NY warehouse.
