PPG® Mastinox CA1010 Corrosion Inhibiting Jointing Compound from SkyGeek is a non-curing, non-chromate corrosion inhibitive compound that bonds readily to aluminum alloys and dissimilar metals to protect against corrosion while reducing premature wear. The corrosion inhibitive compound has a service temperature range from -65ºF (-54ºC) to 320ºF (160ºC) and works quickly by forming a physical barrier against corrosion. The powerful corrosion protection remains mastic after prolonged exposure to aircraft fuels, making it ideal for use around fuel systems.
PPG® Mastinox CA1010 Corrosion Inhibiting Jointing Compound is a single-component, thixotropic paste that is suitable for application by brush or spatula. A thin layer is all you need for continuous protection, flight after flight. Once in place, the corrosion-inhibiting paste is white and will not yellow with age or exposure to the elements. Because the formula is non-curing, PPG® Mastinox CA1010 Corrosion Inhibiting Jointing Compound will not harden and can better resist the vibrational forces of flight.
