PPG® DeSoto® 512X310 Epoxy Primer is compatible with Desothane® high solids polyurethane topcoats and epoxy primers and can be applied using any non-electrostatic spray equipment desired. Apply the primer under a wide range of conditions with excellent results, every time.
The role of PPG® DeSoto® 512X310 Epoxy Primer is to improve the adhesion of an epoxy topcoat. The 512X310 primer is specifically formulated for use with Desothane® HS polyurethane topcoats and epoxy primers, extending the life of the topcoat and improving the adhesion. The primer also works behind the scenes to protect the aircraft from fluids that can cause corrosion and other types of damage. PPG® DeSoto® 512X310 Epoxy Primer is sold as a two-component product, in a gallon-size kit that requires mixing just before application.
