PPG® Mastinox D40 Corrosion Inhibitive Jointing Compound - 160 mL Cartridge

PPG Aerospace® D40 Mastinox Jointing Compound from SkyGeek is designed to deliver a strong bond while simultaneously guarding against corrosion. The jointing compound goes on smoothly and stays in place thanks to the thixotropic nature and paste-like consistency. The non-chromate corrosion inhibitive compound has a wide service temperature range, so it can be applied in any environment. Once cured, it acts as an effective barrier against the common causes of corrosion on aluminum alloys.

PPG Aerospace® D40 MIl-PRF-8116 Mastinox Jointing Compound is as reliable as it is effective, remaining permanently mastic even after prolonged exposure to aircraft fuels. The one-part polyester compound can be applied by brush or spatula and cures readily at room temperature without the need for supplemental heat or additives. PPG Aerospace® Mastinox D40 Jointing Compound has a vibrant yellow color so it's easy to see where it has been applied, ensuring complete and even coverage.
