PPG Aerospace® PR-2200 B-1 Conductive Sealant from SkyGeek offers a rapid cure, corrosion resistance and a wide service temperature range. The electrically conductive sealant works in temperatures ranging from -67°F (-55°C) to (250°F) (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 360°F (182°C). Once applied, the sealant delivers excellent electrical conductivity and EMI-RFI shielding effectiveness. Designed to act as a barrier against moisture and other causes of corrosion, the sealant is easy to apply and resists exposure to common aviation chemicals including jet fuel and aviation gas.
PPG Aerospace® PR-2200 B-1 Conductive Sealant is a nickel-filled, epoxy-cured Permapol® P-3.1 polythioether compound with low sag and excellent adhesion. Designed to be applied by an extrusion gun or spatula, the sealant can be applied to vertical or horizontal surfaces. With proper priming, PPG Aerospace® PR-2200 B-1 Conductive Sealant can be used on any type of common aircraft substrate. The two-part sealant is sold in a 2.5-ounce 655-SemKit.
