PPG Aerospace® PR-1764 Type I, Form B Spec Electrically Conductive Sealant is a type of electrically conductive, corrosion-inhibitive sealant that's designed for use on aircraft systems. With a wide service temperature range of -67ºF (-55ºC) to 250ºF (121ºC), the sealant provides a reliable hold and high performance in virtually any condition. The sealant is designed to maintain electrical continuity once sealed, making it an excellent choice for long-term EMI-RMI protection. The sealant has corrosion-inhibiting properties and protects against corrosion on aluminum alloys. PPG Aerospace® PR-1764 Type I, Form B Spec Electrically Conductive Sealant is a 2-part sealant and is sold in a SemKit where each component can be kept separate until just before use. The uncured thixotropic paste has a low sag and is suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. The sealant boasts a high adhesion to common aircraft substrates, especially when primed using PR-148 Adhesion Promoter.
