PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 A-1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant from SkyGeek acts as a primary line of defense against leaks and fuel spills. The integral fuel tank sealant has a wide service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 360°F (182°C), so it can be applied in virtually any conditions. The cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas, so a single exposure won’t compromise coverage.
PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 A-1/2 AMS 3276 Fuel Tank Sealant is a two-component formula. The manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide compound is suitable for brush application in its uncured form. It can be applied up to 25 mils thick and will cure at room temperature to form a resilient seal. PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 A-1/2 Integral Fuel Tank Sealant has the advantage of adhering to most common aircraft substrates, making it the ideal choice for repairs, maintenance procedures and more. The fuel tank sealant is sold by the pint and volume pricing is available on qualifying bulk orders.
