PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 A-1 is an integral aircraft fuel tank sealant with a service temperature range of -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 360°F (182°C). The sealant is designed for brush sealing applications, particularly around fasteners and on seams. Once cured, the sealant maintains its excellent elastomeric properties, making it resistant to the vibrational forces of flight. As a fuel tank sealant, PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 A-1 is also resistant to exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.
PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 A-1 Fuel Tank Sealant is a two-part formula with a manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide base. The sealant is suitable for brush application and can be applied in thicknesses up to 25 mils. It cures at room temperature and is remarkably resilient, making it the ideal choice for all of your fuel system sealing needs. The uncured material adheres readily to all types of aircraft substrates. PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 A-1 Fuel Tank Sealant is sold in a pint-size kit.
