When filling and splicing honeycomb, you need an adhesive to handle the heat and the pressure. Huntsman® Epocast® 1652 A/B Epoxy Adhesive is designed for high-temperature performance when filling and splicing honeycomb. The epoxy syntactic offers excellent temperature performance after it is cured. The high-quality honeycomb void fillers add strength and toughness to fabricated parts and are ideal for use on helicopter blades or other critical equipment. Huntsman® Epocast® 1652 A/B Epoxy Adhesive is sold as a two-part kit, with each component shipped in its own container to ensure it stays separate until just before use. The pre-measured materials make getting the mixture just right easy, ensuring reliable performance. Huntsman® Epocast® 1652 A/B Epoxy Adhesive is tan in color so it's easy to see where it has been applied and each kit makes one quart of adhesive. Huntsman® Epocast® 1652 A/B Epoxy Adhesive takes seven days to fully cure to 25ºC (77ºF), but curing can be accelerated to just two to three hours by increasing the temperature to 66ºC (150.8ºF).
