As stated in the name, Huntsman's Araldite 2011 (AW 106 Resin/Hardener HV 953) Epoxy Adhesive is a multi-purpose, viscous material that is suitable for bonding a variety of materials. Use it on metal, ceramic, wood, vulcanized rubber, foams, and plastics with outstanding results. The electrically insulating adhesive is easy to apply either manually by spatula and stiff brush, or mechanically with meter/mix and coating equipment. Furthermore, this item cures at temperatures ranging from 68°F to 356°F (20°C to 180°C) with no release of volatile constituents, so it’s safe to use in enclosed spaces. Huntsman Araldite 2011 is one of the most flexible epoxy adhesives on the market. It has a high shear and peel strength and is remarkably easy to apply using the method of your choice. It has a long workability time, so you can adjust and reposition components as needed before the product cures. It can be used throughout the aircraft, but is particularly useful in electrical boxes and around electrical components. The epoxy is sold in a 200 mL cartridge and is an excellent value.
