Bostik 9252 Metal Adhesive Primer from SkyGeek is a thin, yellow liquid that is used to prime metal surfaces before an adhesive is applied. The primer helps the adhesive to work by creating a surface that’s easier to grab and to hold onto. The liquid is thin and brushable for easier application. It is designed to be used with the Bostik 2402 adhesive system, but it can also be used with other Bostik Neoprene Contact Adhesives, as well as Bostik Polyurethane and Nitriles.
Bostik 9252 Metal Adhesive Primer also works on fiberglass surfaces. It transforms the smooth surface into a slightly less smooth surface to give it a better ‘key’. The ‘key’ allows the adhesive to adhere better for a stronger hold. The brushable yellow metal primer can be applied using your choice of brush or roller. It comes in a pint-size can and is re-sealable and shelf stable. The primer is priced competitively and is available with a manufacturer’s certification if needed.
