Made from an ultra-pure, oxygen-free, halide-free copper braid, Chem-Wik® 10-5L Desoldering Braid completely removes solder from circuit boards and other electrical components without leaving any residue behind. The fast-wicking action helps protect against heat damage while removing unwanted solder, allowing for quick fixes during electrical repairs and installations.

Chemtronics® Chem-Wik® 10-5L Rosin Desoldering Braid is sold in 5-foot (1.52 m) lengths and is packaged in ESD-safe static dissipative bobbins for easy storage and dispensing. The bobbin also acts as a place to hold the desoldering braid during use. When used correctly, there's no post-solder cleaning required and no corrosive residues left behind. The braided solder wick is designed with an open weave design that allows for faster wicking and more efficient heat transfer, preventing damage and expediting solder removal.
