PPG Aerospace® PR-1776M B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant is a low-density, high-temperature sealant designed to be used inside the fuel tank. The sealant has a service temperature range of -65ºF (54ºC) to 250ºF (121ºC) and can withstand very limited exposure to temperatures up to 360ºF (182ºC). The sealant is designed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other applications where prolonged exposure to aircraft fuels is likely. PPG Aerospace® PR-1776M B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant is safe for both jet fuel and aviation gas and can withstand limited contact with diphosphate ester-based hydraulic fluids.

PPG Aerospace® PR-1776M B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant is a two-part formula that must be mixed before application. Uncured, the sealant exhibits low sag and is a thixotropic paste that readily adheres to vertical surfaces. Apply PPG Aerospace® PR-1776M B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant using an extrusion gun or spatula, as desired. The BMS 5-45M sealant cures readily at room temperature and adheres well to most substrates used for fuel tanks.
