Momentive™ RTV133 Black Silicone Electrical Sealant - 10.1 oz Cartridge

Momentive™ RTV133 Silicone Electrical Sealant is a black, single-component rubber adhesive sealant that is designed for use in applications involving electrical connections. The sealant is used often in the aviation industry because it is resistant to burning and can withstand high temperatures. The adhesive is sold in a 10.1-ounce cartridge and requires no mixing before application. Once exposed to the moisture in the air at room temperature, the black silicone rubber sealant begins to cure. Once fully cured, it forms a tough, durable, silicone rubber.

Momentive™ RTV133 Silicone Electrical Sealant from SkyGeek should be used in a well-ventilated area. The curing process releases an alcohol vapor with a low odor. The cure time of Momentive™ RTV133 Silicone Electrical Sealant is slightly slower than other silicone adhesive sealants that give off acetic acid vapors as a by-product of curing. Once cured, the black adhesive silicone has a deep black color that allows for fast visual inspections. Before curing, the black rubber sealant has a paste-like consistency that allows for easy application to vertical or horizontal surfaces, maximizing flexibility and ease of use.
