Monitor your aircraft's fuel for bacterial growth with an FQS FQS-035 MicrobMonitor2® Fuel Microbial Growth Detector Kit from SkyGeek. The text kit is IATA approved and recognized by some of the biggest names in the airframe manufacturing community. Designed to be easy to use, operators can quickly test a small sample of fuel to check for the presence of bacteria, yeast or molds. Testing takes up to four days for bacteria and an additional three days for yeast and mold. In general, a positive result using the MicrobMonitor2® Fuel Microbial Growth Detector Kit indicates a need for action.

  • Indicates the severity of an infection not just the presence of microbes as with “go, no-go" tests
  • Unaffected by biocides, DIEGME or additives so can validate the efficacy of the treatment
  • Only detects live microbes and mould spores, other tests give positive results for hours or even days after microbes have been killed by a biocide treatment
  • Oil and water phases can be tested
  • Detects active Hormoconis resinae and other moulds, yeasts and bacteria
  • Detects mould spores which some other tests cannot
