Formula I Deicing Fluid is FAA approved SAE Type I and is best used with gas powered carts. Aircraft Ground Deicing Fluids are designed to safely remove frost, snow & ice from your aircraft prior to flight. They're recommended for use on all fixed wing, metal aircraft, including piston, turboprop, and jet. They are typically sprayed hot, directly onto the aircraft surfaces from a handheld or powered deicing sprayer, and remove frost, snow & ice by thermal action and by lowering the freezing point of the frozen layer. If applied properly, not only will the frozen contaminates be removed from your aircraft, but the residual fluid will not refreeze upon takeoff. They will not harm your aircraft, and are biodegradable.
