This Dynamic Microphone is a low impedance, noise cancelling type. It cannot operate in circuits that supply a DC bias voltage. Not for use in General Aviation applications.

  • Impedance:microphone designed to be used in aircraft requiring a LOW IMPEDANCE microphone. Microphone terminal impedance is nominally 5 ohms.
  • Sensitivity:1.8 to 4 micro volts across 5 ohm load at 1000 Hz with an input of 74 dB SPL re:.0002 microbar,1/4' from mouth of artificial voice.
  • Frequency response:200-600 Hz.
  • Ambient noise level:Communications can be carried on in noise levels up to 120 dB SPL (re:.0002 microbar) with adequate signal to noise ratios. Microphone must be zero to 1/8" from lips for best signal to noise ratio (maximum noise cancellation).
