It has a useful temperature range of -100°F (-73°C ) to +250°F (+21°C). The grease is Aeroshell 33 and is qualified under MlL-PRF-23827C and Boeing specification BMS3-33B.

D-5933NS can be used as a replacement for molybdenum disulfide, in problem areas like the trailing edge flaps. Other applications are: general airframe lubricant, highly loaded gears, actuator screw mechanisms, instrument and all sliding and wiping surfaces with moisture entrapment problems.
