Shell Spirax ASX R SAE 75W-90 is a fuel-efficient axle fluid designed to provide ultimate protection to the latest heavy-duty axles that call for an API GL-5 type product. Specially formulated with synthetic base oils and additive technology that provide improved lubrication of the drive train, it lowers the operating temperature and helps promote longer life for the equipment. Shell Spirax ASX R SAE 75W-90 is capable of extended oil drain and is approved by several OEMs for their extended drain specifications. Standard industry and commercial fleet testing have demonstrated a fuel efficiency improvement of over 1% when compared to several products in the same application. Meets Roadranger SHAES 256 Rev C specifications with enhanced fuel efficiency.
APPLICATIONS:
Heavy duty axles and other applications where a 75W-90 API GL-5 extreme pressure (EP) mineral or synthetic gear oil is recommended. Note: For Eaton Roadranger Transmissions, use Spirax GSX SAE 50.
