PPG Aerospace® PR-1773 B-2 Access Door Sealant is a good access door sealant, delivering a low adhesive bond and superior corrosion resistance. The non-chromate access door sealant is safe for use on a variety of surfaces and has a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 300°F (149°C), so it's able to be applied in the field or any conditions. The access door sealant goes on smoothly and forms an effective barrier against the common causes of corrosion, especially when used on aluminum alloys or between dissimilar metals.

PPG Aerospace® PR-1773 B-2 Access Door Sealant is a two-part manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide compound that exhibits low sag, so it's the ideal choice for vertical surfaces. Uncured, the sealant is a thixotropic paste that can be applied via an extrusion gun or spatula in the thicknesses required to seal access doors. The sealant will cure at room temperature, forming a removable seal on most common aircraft substrates.
