PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 Fuel Tank Sealant from SkyGeek is the two-part sealant that really delivers. The fuel tank sealant is made to withstand exposure to all aviation chemicals, including jet fuels and aviation gasoline. It has a huge service temperature range from -65ºF (-54ºC) to 250ºF (121ºC) and can even withstand intermittent exposure to temperatures up to 360ºF (182ºC). The sealant is designed for fillet sealing and maintains its elastomeric properties even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 Fuel Tank Sealant is a two-part formula, with each component kept completely separate until just before use. This ensures that the sealant is in its most active state when it's applied. The mixed, uncured material has a paste-like consistency and is low-sag, making it suitable for application techniques including extrusion gun or spatula. The sealant cures at room temperature and expresses excellent adhesion to common substrates used in the fabrication of fuel tanks and fuselages.
