PPG Aerospace® PR-1440 A-2 Fuel Tank Sealant from SkyGeek is the smart choice for stopping leaks before they start. The sealant is designed for use in the fuel tank, easily withstanding prolonged exposure to aviation gasoline and jet fuel, reducing maintenance demands and improving safety. The thick sealant is designed for brush sealing of fasteners in fuel tanks and other similar aircraft fuselage sealing applications. Once cured, the sealant maintains its excellent elastomeric properties to prevent cracking.

PPG Aerospace® PR-1440 A-2 Fuel Tank Sealant has an impressive service temperature range making it the ideal choice for use in any environment. The sealant works in temperatures ranging from -65ºF (-54ºC) to 250ºF (121ºC) and also withstand intermittent exposure to temperatures as high as 275ºF (135ºC). PPG Aerospace® PR-1440 A-2 Fuel Tank Sealant cures at room temperature and may be applied by brush in thicknesses up to 25 mils.
