PPG® Mastinox CA 1000 is a non-curing, non-chromate corrosion inhibitive compound that acts as an effective barrier against the common causes of corrosion on aluminum alloys or between dissimilar metals. The compound is permanently mastic after prolonged exposure to aviation gas and jet fuel, with a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 240°F (116°C). The compound can also withstand intermittent exposure to temperatures up to 275°F (135°C), offering flexibility and a reliable bond in any conditions.

PPG® Mastinox CA 1000 is a single-component, epoxy-capped, PERMAPOL® polysulfide compound with a thixotropic nature for easy application. The sag-free formula can be applied by brush or spatula with impressive results.
