The primer is designed to be applied directly to aluminum and composite surfaces before the top coating. PPG® Eco-Prime™ EEAY051 Epoxy Primer is sold in a 10 cc Sempen® for precision application and reduced waste. The Sem epoxy primer is yellow, so it’s easy to see where it has been applied, ensuring complete coverage.

PPG® Eco-Prime™ EEAY051 Epoxy Primer offers excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance. The military-grade epoxy primer for metal is compatible with Desothane® high solids topcoats and delivers excellent fluid resistance to help protect your aircraft from all kinds of corrosion-causing hazards. The direct-to-metal primer is compatible with all current spray equipment and can be applied in a range of conditions, making it easy and convenient to protect your aircraft’s exterior surfaces. PPG® Eco-Prime™ EEAY051 Epoxy Primer can be removed with chemical strippers or dry media blasting, if needed. Sem primer has a service temperature range of -54°C to 177°C (-65°F to 350°F).
